Nikaidou Ran (Japanese: 二階堂潤 ^{（にかいどうじゅん）} ; Korean: (Yu Ji Ran) ; English name order: Ran Nikaidou / Ji-ran Yu ) is a character from Re:BIRTH - The Lunatic Taker. She is one of the major characters and considered to be one of the strongest takers around.

IntroductionEdit

A third-year high school student, she is the strongest Taker. She's the school idol of her school and a talented musician. She is the granddaughter of a businessman.

AppearanceEdit

She has long dark hair that extends past her shoulders, with one bang that tends to cover one of her eyes. She is often seen in her school uniform. her weapon a butcher knife

PersonalityEdit

In her daily life, Ran shows to be emotionless as she pursues to be the best to live up to her family's expectations.

In combat, as a Taker, she shows to be ruthless. She was willing to show mercy to those that are far weaker than her like Ayaka, when they first meet as Ran was willing to let her go. However, as Ayaka refused to let Ran live believing her to be a dangerous rival. Ran straightforwardly decides to kill Ayaka even under Reiji's request that he is willing to make Ayaka surrender.

Ran's true self seems to be a person that is kind and caring, especially to the people she loved.

Apparently Ran suffers from Speech Impediment as she has trouble talking in most occasions.
